Jim, Joe & Family,
Know that all of you are in our prayers. Rose was a very special person, and she was so proud of both of you. She also touch the life's of many at Saint Antoine's Residence. May the light of Christ shine upon her and may she rest in peace. God Bless, Bob & Diane

Rose was a wonderful woman whose warm, joyful presence added a special joy to holiday celebrations that the Hagans will treasure always.
We never tired hearing her stories about the Gormans whose bakery always held a special point of pride for the citizens of Central Falls.
After the passing of my grandparents, she automatically stepped up as a surrogate older sister to my father and his brother, having them over for holidays and looking after them as they grew into succesful and wonderful young men.
She devoted her life to her nursing career, as well looking after her twin brother Vinnie-who was born with special needs-which nearly a century ago could be considered a stigma or ignored completely.
But instead of turning her back on him or seeing him a couple times a year, she made it her life's work to ensure he could live as normal a life as possible-acting as his guardian their whole lives.
This couldn't have been an easy decision but I suppose that selflessness is part of what makes that Greatest Generation live up to its name.
When I first went away to college I still remember her calling me once a week to make sure I was doing ok in a strange city in a new state.
Rose you touched all the Hagan/Smida/Lumazza lives forever and we will always carry you in our hearts wherever we go.
Love Kelly and Rich
Ps. We will also never forget your advice to us upon our wedding. An Irish and Italian! "Batten down the hatches. You will have a wonderful life together but you will both have some knock down drag out fights. I've seen it a million times before." We still laugh about that. RIP to a kind soul.

May Rose rest in peace. She was a very caring and loving person who will be missed by her relatives, friends, and loved ones. She carried out the wishes of her parents in caring for Vinny over the years. The family is extremely grateful to Saint Antoines and their wonderful staff for the care, attention, and friendship they have afforded Rose and Vin while residing at Saint Antoines. Rose will forever be in our thoughts and prayers and our family will always cherish the time spent together.

To The Gorman Family. I didn't know Rose personally, but I do know what it's like to loose someone you love. I found great comfort from what I read in the Bible about death. Jesus tells us at John 5:28 29 that we will see our loved ones again right here on this earth. Please read it for yourself and find comfort as I have.

Her Church and her family were central to Rose and Vin's life. We spent many holidays together and every special occasion was marked by their presence or communication. They always arrived with arms full of gifts and smiles galore, so glad to be a part of important family times. We shall miss her regular calls! We are so appreciative of St. Antoine's caring community which afforder her daily mass and a loving community. May she rest in the palm of God's hand. Pat, Joe, Kevin, Domenica, Thomas and Ella 4 15

Please accept my condolences. May you find comfort in the fond memories of your loved one. The Bible also offers words of comfort during times of bereavement. It is comforting to know the Bible speaks of a time when “death will be no more” at Rev 21:3, 4. During your time of bereavement you can find comfort in reading these verses in the Bible.
